Integrative psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, navigating relationships, and recovery from trauma.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, my practice emphasizes the experiential. This means that I actively work with you to navigate relationship problems, anxiety, grief, difficulties in motivation and confidence, tough transitions, depression, anger, and other challenges that keep you from enjoying the life you’d like to lead.
Working “experientially” also means that the experience you gain can be applied immediately and directly to your professional life, your relationships with family and loved ones, and your own self perspective. Over time and incrementally, working this way not only gives you greater access to parts of yourself that have been long forgotten, but also helps you find personal strengths and resources you may be overlooking.
Ultimately, my work helps you to reconnect with yourself, which, in turn, leads to more authentic relationships with increased joy, contentment, and harmony.
I work with individuals, couples, and groups in Washington, DC and the Metro area. I see people in my private practice, and I also lead classes, workshops, and training sessions. I am engaged in regular consultation with colleagues so that my clients receive the best care possible.
In order to best meet my clients’ therapeutic needs, I work in a variety of modalities and draw on both traditional psychotherapy and integrative mind-body health care.
I have experience working both locally and internationally, and I draw on real life experience as well as comprehensive training to connect with my clients in a manner that promotes honesty, security, and confidence.
My clients are individuals who value physical, emotional, and mental health and use the experiences gained in therapy to heal and transform old wounds, create more meaningful relationships, and develop the emotional tenacity necessary to promote productive, positive, and happy lives.
